SECTION 3. Except for the Office of President, the officers shall be elected at the annual convention by the voting delegates. Officers shall remain in office until their successors assume office.

a. For the purpose of conducting elections, the officers shall be divided into two (2) groups.

- Group I shall consist of the President, (if needed), President Elect, Secretary, Region Directors, Vice President for Outreach & Support and Vice President for Children’s Advocacy.

- Group ll shall consist of the Vice President for Programs & Services, Vice President for Membership, Vice President for Leadership, Treasurer and Vice President for Student Involvement.

b. Group I shall be elected in odd-numbered years and Group ll shall be elected in even-numbered years.

c. To implement this change, officers serving in Group II for the 2011-2013 term will have their terms extended until the 2014 election cycle. This extension shall not count as a term for the purposes of Article XII, Section 5.
