Join/Get Involved

For over 90 years, the Michigan Parent Teacher Association (Michigan PTA), a chapter of the National PTA, has been the leading voice for advocacy for children in Michigan.

Michigan PTA promotes local, regional and state efforts to promote the well-being for all children in our state by working with principals, superintendents, school boards, business and community leaders, the legislature, the State Board of Education, and the Department of Education to make sure child related concerns are being met.

Michigan PTA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.

Volunteers Welcome!

Do you have time to spare? Expertise to share?

The Michigan PTA State Office is in need of volunteers in a variety of areas – from basic office assistance to Field Service to marketing to website and more. Many of our state-level committees would happily welcome a new member.

What a great way to continue working on behalf of Michigan's children after your children are off to college.  Or, maybe, you find you do have some extra time to spare now.  Complete our volunteer form and we will be in touch!
